Aardvark Alpine Lodge has an open plan lounge and dining room, cooking and food storage facilities in a fully equipped kitchen including microwaves, heating in all rooms, spacious bedrooms, and a large drying room. All of this in one of the best, family friendly locations on the mountain.

On-site manager

Our manager is in residence all through the snow season and will provide all assistance to help you enjoy your stay in true Aardvark Alpine Club style.

Living spaces

Two living spaces are provided for your enjoyment and relaxation.

  • The main living area features comfy arm chairs and a fabulous open fire.
  • A second mezzanine area is also available. This area is often used for quiet reading area, a place for children to get together, or an area for small groups and/or games.

Kitchen facilities

Communal facility includes - a fully equipped kitchen with dish washer, 2 large ovens and multiple gas burners, fridge and pantry storage for each room. All crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, tea, coffee and basic condiments provided.

Convivial community atmosphere to enjoy your meals with your ski party and meet new friends.


  • Up to a total of 37 persons in 9 bedrooms across 3 split levels.
  • A range of bed configurations: 7 rooms have doubles and singles, one has have all singles and one just a double bed.
  • Doonas and pillows provided. Please bring own sheets (min 2), pillowslips and towels or you can hire for a small fee, but please note sleeping bags are NOT permitted.

Following some renovations in 2021, we offer several private bathrooms each with its own shower, handbasin and toilet. There is also a “family bathroom" with bath for private use by all.

Drying Room and Ski/Board Racks

These facilities are provided to ensure your ski clothing & equipment is dry and safely stored after your days skiing.

Supplies provided

A range of food and cooking items are provided for your convenience. This includes tea, coffee, sugar, flour, herbs and spices, cooking oils, sauces, jams and spreads.

FREE WiFi internet access is available throughout the lodge.

What to Bring

  • Bedding: sheets (min 2) and pillow cases, NO sleeping bags please.
  • Suitable clothing for the alpine environment,
  • Food and drinks,
  • Towels and toiletries,
  • Indoor shoes.
  • A good attitude!!!


To achieve our aim of cheap and happy skiing, we ask you to perform minor duties. We don’t employ persons to clean and tidy up. Duties are allocated for each room, and we ask you to please vacuum your room on departure.

Arrival and Departure

Guests are expected to pack up their belongings, food and drinks, and clean and vacate their room and fridge space by 2pm on their day of departure.

Guests wanting to ski till last runs close are asked to consult the managers beforehand to discuss suitable storage of their luggage until they leave.

Rooms are available for incoming guests at 5pm on their day of arrival.

Guests who plan to arrive earlier are encouraged to leave their luggage in their car and head out skiing until the close of lifts at 5pm when rooms, shelves and fridge space will be ready.

Guests with special needs are encouraged to phone our friendly Lodge Manager/s before arrival.
